Bedford South School

ScotiaMed has sponsored our local school Bedford South since our inception. We are very proud of the accomplishments of all the sports teams at Bedford South but specifically the flag Football and Basketball teams which have been perennial contenders in the Marinar Zone against much larger schools.

Bedford Minor Basketball

We proudly sponsor the Bedford Classic Annual Basketball Invitational Tournament.
This is the largest minor basketball tournament in Canada including up to 100 teams and over one thousand athletes each year.

Thunder Selects Hoops For Hope

The Thunder Selects, a girls basketball program established by Brandon Rafuse, has hosted an annual tournament to showcase girls basketball and raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis research. Scotiamed has sponsored this tournament for the past 5 years.

Charles P. Allen High School

Scotiamed has supported the Basketball Women's Ice Ball Tournament and CPA Cheetas Football team this past year. As well, our part time staff includes CPA students who are important members of our health care team. Go Cheetas!!!

Hoops for Hope

Scotiamed has sponsored the Junior High All Star Boys And Girls Basketball Game the past two years. This was organised by a local CPA student Kelsey Clory in honour of one of her basketbal coaches who has Multiple Sclerosis. This event has raised over $3000 for MS research in the past two years!!

Live Different

One of our employees Michelle Fraser who has been with ScotiaMed for the past three years, is a volunteer with Live Different. This is an organization that provides accommodations in third world countries for the underprivileged. She has helped build homes for the needy in Dominican Republic for the past two years.
